Eric Kramon is an associate professor of political science and international affairs at the The George Washington University. His research is broadly motivated by an interest in understanding what shapes the quality and survival of democratic politics. His current research focuses on (1) judicial politics and democratic erosion and (2) democratic processes and programs than can address the challenge of extreme polarization.
At GW, Professor Kramon teaches courses on comparative politics, research methods, and African politics. He is on faculty in the Department of Political Science and the Elliott School of International Affairs.
